Boat and yacht shrink wrapping

We protect boats, yachts and jet skis with shrink wrap for transport, winterisation or storage. The film fits the shape of the hull and keeps out water and snow. We come to where the vessel is kept.

  • We travel anywhere in Poland
  • Road and sea transport
  • Winterisation

When we pack

Three situations in which a vessel needs protection

Road and sea transport

We prepare boats and yachts for road and sea transport. The film stabilises deck fittings and protects the vessel from damage and dirt on the way to the port or to the buyer.

Winterisation

We protect vessels for the winter with film that does not flap in the wind and does not collect water like a tarpaulin. The film is removed once, in spring.

Laying-up and storage

For a longer lay-up, the film seals the vessel tightly and keeps out water and snow. We pack under cover: in the customer's hall, at a shipyard or in a marina.

How it works

What heat-shrunk film does on a hull

Once heat-shrunk, shrink wrap takes the shape of the vessel and seals it tightly, including around irregular edges: railings, the superstructure and deck fittings. It keeps out water and snow, so the vessel can stand under it for the whole winter season.

We choose the film to suit the size and shape of the hull and heat-shrink it on site with a torch. We do not build any timber framing or crate around it.

  • Fits the shape of the hull, including around irregular edges
  • Keeps out water and snow
  • Does not flap in the wind
  • Does not collect water like a tarpaulin
  • Stabilises deck fittings during transport
  • Access to the inside without removing the film, through a taped-in door with a zip

How we work

How a job runs

Every job starts with the dimensions of the vessel and where it is kept. Only then do we choose the film, equipment and arrival date.

  1. 01
EnquiryYou give us the vessel's dimensions, its location and the planned date. Photos speed up the quote.
  2. 02
Quote and dateWe choose the film thickness and equipment for the hull and agree the date we will arrive at the address you give.
  3. 03
On-site packingWe arrive with film and torches. We heat-shrink the film on the vessel under cover: in the customer's hall, at a shipyard or in a marina.
  4. 04
Vessel readyThe hull is sealed tightly and ready for transport, winterisation or a longer lay-up.

Frequently asked questions

Before you send an enquiry

Do you come to where the vessel is kept?

Yes. We come with film and equipment to any address in Poland and pack under cover: in the customer's hall, at a shipyard or in a marina. You do not need to bring the vessel to us. All we need is access to it and space to work around the hull.

How is shrink wrap different from a tarpaulin for winter storage?

Once heat-shrunk, the film takes the shape of the hull and seals the vessel tightly. It does not flap in the wind and does not collect water the way a tarpaulin does. It is removed once, in spring.

Can you get into a wrapped boat without removing the film?

Yes. After heat-shrinking, a zip door (Zip Doors) is taped into the film. You open it when you need to check something or take something out, and close it again. The doors come in three sizes.

What do you need to quote for a boat?

The vessel's dimensions (length, width, height), its location and the planned date. Photos help: you can attach them as a link in the form on the home page. On this basis we choose the film, equipment and arrival date. If you are deciding between a cover, a tarpaulin and shrink wrap, we compare them in the article boat cover, tarpaulin or shrink wrap (in Polish).
